Fuzeta

The nearest beach to Colina Verde Golf & Country Club is at Fuzeta, a ten minute bus ride from the resort. Courtesy bus transfers can be arranged at reception. Fuzeta is a beautiful town that still maintains real Algarvian traditions and is well worth a visit. It is part of the protected reserve of Ria Formosa, where visitors can enjoy the fabulous variety of birdlife, exquisite flora and fauna in their most natural setting. Boat trips are available at Fuzeta to ferry visitors to the island of Fuzeta, a short trip of about five minutes, which boasts miles of stunning unspoilt beaches and clear warm waters.

Armona island can also be accessed by ferry or by water taxi from the waterfront at Olhao. The island is populated with a large number of beach houses and a handful of café bars. The main beach is pristine and uncrowded making it very popular for those wishing to plan a day trip.
